Thread: Kazaa Plus Unable To Hack?

1. #1
GX Tech created a security code for Kazaa Plus that would make it hard, and dangerous, to hack. KaZaA Plus should be able to detect SoftICE and other hacking tools running on the user's system, and report to Sharman's servers... It is therefore recommended to take precautions if ever trying to mess with Kazaa Plus, including making sure you're not connected to the internet.
But there's more into it. Each time someone purchases Kazaa Plus online, a downloadable installation file would be compiled on the run, on Sharman's servers, with unique information (which would be connected with your supplied information when purchasing KPlus) inside Kazaa Plus' executable. So even if someone manages to hack and distribute KPlus, the hacked version would contain a unique ID of the original buyer, and would allow Sharman to track him down (wether they do anything with this or not I can't tell, but they probably could).

Now, I don't know how far this information is true, but Sharman is probably getting serious with this. And you should also beware of what exactly you write here in Kazaa Lite K++ Forums. They Could be reading these very lines, like anything else on this website.

Some other things on Kazaa: Sharman are still paying FastTrack for getting new versions of the FastTrack protocol, which is written in VC++ and is planned to move to .NET sometime in the future.
But Sharman doesn't have access to the FastTrack code. They hardly have any information on how FastTrack works at all. This means that the only people who control the 3 million users wide network are still the two Dutch guys who first invented it.

random nut already said once that it was very easy (for him) to crack Kazaa plus. But Kazaa Plus doesn't offer any real advantages compared to other clean versions, so why crack it?

Also, FastTrack is now owned by a company called JoltId and not anymore by Zenstrom and Friis.

If Random Nut hacks kazaa plus...It will have alot more features then the clean KMD stuf out now...........

All ads will already Be removed, all that their will be left to do is to disable the peer points manager, and add some new kl extensions.....It would be much easier than starting from scratch.......you can d/l kazaa plus w/o a serial # at www.kazaaplus.com. No offense but I dont think random nut can hack this baby.

DIRECT LINK FOR KAZAA PLUS W/O SERIAL # (COME AND GET IT HACKERS)

>>>>>>>>>>Kazaa plus Download<<<<<<<<<

* Apparently SoftICE will not run with this program open, and it will report to sharman you are trying to hack it.

If you have noticed a recent drop in the search results, its because that Kazaa 2.5+ supernodes are rejecting the shares of 2.01 clients. The users of KMD have no problems upgrading to the latest version, whereas the users of Kazaa Lite certainly do. Therefore, we need to modify Kazaa 2.6+. I read somewhere that Kazaa and Kazaa Plus are compiled from the same code, just using the following method:

Code:
#ifdef (_KAZAA_PLUS_)
{
}
#else
{
}
#endif
For those of you familiar with C/C++, you would know it. Now most of the things remain the same between the two versions. The ads are already gone with KLR, so are AltNet/P2P Networking. All that is needed now is to update KL Extensions. It crashes Kazaa 2.6 (kppaddon.dll), mostly because of reading and modifying the wrong memory locations. A little bit more research has to be done on this one. The accelerator features do work however.

Just unplug your modem/network cable

This is not a new kind of protection. Lots of software and games use it too.
