1. If you have a friend in another country or with a more friendly ISP, you could set up a VPN session with him and share his internet connection.

2. The only other way I can think of is to use a Satellite based ISP (one that does not now country boundaries)

How reliable are those things? I hear that they are really good, but others say they are really bad. That they have a high dropout rate.

Depends on the proxy service provider. I can tell you that AnonX has 2X as much bandwidth relative to AnonX all time max usage. Many users connect to the internet (File Share/Browse/Chat/......) with very little loss of speed (less than 10% loss of bandwidth).


Best thing is to sign up for a test account and run it through various testing.


Sealth test the service by using a proxy tester like ShieldsUP at www.grc.com

Preformance test it using your some of your favorite p2p apps or by going to some of the web based bandwidth tests.



You will be impressed. None of your personal data gets exposed.
