Thread: How Good Is Your Antivirus Test

  1. #1
If you have recently done the antivirus test with the live viri, even after you have deleted the downloaded rar and the folder which you have extracted to

you could still have live viri on your comp.

they are safely quarantined - BUT THEY ARE STILL THERE!

I recommend to delete all quarantined files from the test, empty your recycle bin, and do a full system scan - then you can't accidentally bring them back in the future

No need to panic - better to be safe than sorry

not as long as it takes to scan one 80GB, one 120GB and one 250GB drive?
On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.

Also delete your restorepoints if systemrestore is enabled on Me and XP machines. The .CAB file containing the restorepoint will also contain the viruses.
