Single handedly destroying the NHS from the inside
I thought it was 6x7=42 (that's what the books says anyhow) [/b][/quote]Originally posted by Withcheese+12 January 2004 - 00:30--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td>QUOTE (Withcheese @ 12 January 2004 - 00:30)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'> <!--QuoteBegin-J'Pol@11 January 2004 - 22:28
I think it was 6x9 Jonno, but I can't be sure.
The book says 6x9.
The Golgafrinchans (sp) fecked up the program, that was the point.
Sorry, I thought you were referring to the scrabble.Originally posted by Withcheese@12 January 2004 - 00:36
I'm thinking of a different bit when they are just discussing what the question could be...doh.
It could also be "how many roads must a man walk down" if I remember.
6x9 does equal 42 incidentally (you just have to use base 13 numbers)
The point? Sharing our thoughts & dreams openly - It would sometimes interesting to know what other people think and we could understand each other better.Originally posted by JONNO_CELEBS@11 January 2004 - 19:45
It's just occured to me that there is very little point in "Life" , all we do is plod thru life pissing people off and being pissed off with the ocassional laugh in the middle.
So in all honesty what is the point?
Just seems a bit pointless really, maybe I'm wrong it's just thats the way it seems
Oh well, drink and be merry for 2morrow we do it all again
Jonno B)
Yeah, yeah, sharing is careing
Yeah, I remember that line now.how many roads must a man walk down" if I remember.
close with the spelling btw, I wouldn't have even attempted to spell it: Golgafrinchams
Your copy of the book must have a typo.Originally posted by Withcheese@12 January 2004 - 00:45

You'll find it's the Answer to Life, the Universe and Everything. The question is unknown.Originally posted by Withcheese@11 January 2004 - 17:47
42.
No, wait. That's the meaning of life

I don't have a copy of the book at hand so I'm going from memory...
I thought that the mice built a machine that would tell them the meaning of life, it came back with 42. Then they built a machine to discover the question (Earth).
So the meaning of life is 42, but no-one knows the question...
I;m gonna have to reread the books aren't I?
edit:book to books, I knew that
