So, I recently went out, and bought a new 120GB Harddrive. The mistake I made was that it is a SATA, whereas my MB only supports IDE (complete n00b moment).

I can't return the HD, because I bought it from a computer show. I know there must be ways for me to use this... I know there are ATA controller cards, and do cables like "ata-to-ide" exist?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

    It's a Barracuda 120GB @7200rpm SATA
If all else fails, I'll make a trade.

    Correct.
I've never seen such a thing, but then again, I've never looked, either.

    BTW, I have a Western Digital 160GB, 7200rpm w/ 8Mb cache.

    And my board supports SATA.

    Oh well.

So much for the "Infested Cats and Clocker Send Each Other Things" thread.
