    Does any 1 know which is the fastest encoders out of:

    Cinema Craft Encoder
    TMPGnc
    Canopus ProCoder

    any rough times as well wud be very helpful, i have a 2.25 GHz machine.

    i am asking as the dvd2scvd program requires me to install 1, and i know some encoders are faster than others.

    Cinema Craft Encoder 2.67.00.23 is the version I use. Obviously, this is available on p2p networks. It's very expensive apparently, but it's very good at it's job.

    how long does it take to do a 700mb 2 hr long film??

    Well I haven't done any 700MB films, mine are mainly DVD rips which are 4.7 GB in size and that usually takes 5+ hours (which I leave overnight).

    On a guess I'd say 60-90 minutes should be a time you're looking at.
