    im doing a project for biology and we are suppose to take two fruits and combine them to make a new one....i choos watermelon and avocado

    so i was wondering , in photoshop, how do i take the colors and pattern of the outside of a wateremelon and put it into the shape of a avacado....and the same thing on the inside....take the inside of a watermelon and place it on the inside of the avocado....how do i do this? or can you guys do it for me

    lol ya....i was kinda stump as to how to do that.....tried to figue it out, cant, so posted here....i was thinking of just using the stupid pattern maker...and copy the pattern of a melon and then put it on the avocado....look a bit odd though...but thats the best i can do so far.

    unless i decided im going to color the thing w/ color pencils. lol

    eek, cant help ya there

    i mean, wouldnt that also require some harware too?

    if your talkin about, like, wall posters or something?
    (how big are those feckers? like 3' x 6' or something?)
    well there are smaller sizes, but not samll enough for a desktop printer

    forgot to mention, there has been a couple of lists for
    tutorials posted for photoshop, big lists with url's to sites
    try and search back through the forum,
    i think sharedholder posted a really good one,
    but you may have to look a couple of months back or so

    put both the images into photshop

    in the layers toolbar - grab the 1 layer of advocado and drop it directly into the image of the Wtrmln.
    take pointer tool - move it so it fits
    In the layers toolbar - choose the topmost layer (probably the advocado) and at top of the layers toolbar - lower the "opacity"

    (if you cant work it out search in help for opacity)

    and thanks for the help....hopefully i got an a on the presentation and project....i printed the thin out of this huge printer my school has so the final size was about 25" x 25"
