There seems to be interest in comparing system specs of late, the arrival of MadCat's ubermachine touched off the most recent round.
So far though, the benchmark of choice has been the AquaMark test, which, interesting as it may be, is really so heavily weighted towards graphics performance, that it is useless as an all around comparison.
There has been discussion of this very thing at the OC forum also...current thoughts are that the Sandra Performance Index Wizard is a valid and easy way to directly compare one PC to another.
The test takes only a few minutes ( mostly depending on your HDD size) and gives a all around look at your machine...not just the video performance.
I would like to see how BigDawgs better memory compares to mine and also how MadCat's monster does...

I purposely did not include the last LAN/bandwidth section as this is just dependent on your ISP, so there's not a lot that you can do about it...
