SuSE is a distro of Linux, which is an alternative OS. A RAID array is multiple hard drives in one array, so the computer thinks it is one large hard drive.

I do a lot of high-end video editing, that's why I need so much space.

On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.

LOL. I'm talking about large quantities, making professional movies, etc.

But for the most part they are around 700-1200 square.

From a sharing point of view I like CBR192, and though I have some diskspace....it's not unlimited, and my line ain't the greatest either

I listen to music from the computer either through my stereo or my headphones, and think CBR192 sounds good enough

However, if I had unlimited HD-space and a SUper-DUper-maXI-speED connection, I would prefer all my musicfiles in wav-format...

Here's an example of CBR 192 kbps

i'm voting 192. even though 320 sounds better (depending on the ripper) and i'm not stingy with my hd space, but 192 is more common and so i have more of that.

I usually d/l at CBR 128 (seems the most common) but with artists I really like I try to get 192. Or if I want to play them on a good PA system for a show etc.

Why is there no CBR 128 on the poll !

It is hard enough to get some tracks at 128 let alone 192 !

I find a lot of 127 or 129 on Kazaalite - what gives ?
