ok my windows xp machine isnt recognising the player it keeps telling me the usb port thingy hasnt been rocgnised is this machine not compatiable with the player or something or si ther something i could do to make it work

Make sure to get the latest drivers for it at the manufacturer's website. Make sure drivers even EXIST for XP.
