Converting From Avi/mpeg To Dvd

So far i have tried X Video Convertor and a few other convertors but so far none of them have worked. I need to convert my movie into dvd video. All they do is convert it from avi to mpeg. X Convertor made it go from 7oo Mb to 2.2 Gigs. But its not in VIDEO_TS format. (.BUP .IFO .VOB format) Is there a way i take the 2.2 gig file and still make a dvd-video out of it.

get tmpeg dvd author, itll do it, and allow menus etc to be added.


i guess nero 6 prob does it, but tbh i havent tried it, and prob wont
