ok the player works i think but i cant connect it to my computer its either a software problem or something because when i install it on my comp and open it it says player isnt ready check usb port so im thinking its not compatible with xp . does anyone know for definete what the problem is? or is it with the hardware im not sure.

check the USB version.

maybe the mp3 USB player needs an USB 2.0 port and you only got an 1.1
