If you can't live without your Google Bar you should try this!
UltraBar is an IE search bar quite similar to the well known Google Bar.
What's different is that you can add your own search urls.
That way you can search any search engine from your toolbar.
Some examples: IMDB Search, Astalavista Search etc

I tried this on my laptop, a few months ago, and around 20 spyware files were found with Ad Aware pro 162.

That's strange, I use adaware v6 pro and update before each search...Google's bar never came up as spyware. Are you sure you don't mean hotbar? Hotbar has tons of spyware.

Google Bar AND UltraBar both do not contain spyware.
There are a lot of search bars that do contain spyware.
HuntBar, SearchBar, and Xuppa, to name three.
I absolutely despise spyware. Most of us K-Lite users do.
That's why I mentioned it.

i know this is old, but how do you customize the ultrabar? i tried doing that reg thing you said, but it didn't change anything in ultrabar.
