Take a look through the anonx topics in this section. It is a proxy server that works with all p2p programs.
@AnonXO
Thanks for the new ip's. I also wanted to mention, my average speeds have gotten much better lately. Great work

Hello!
Well I guess it is not for me since that service cost money!
P2P should remain free of charge and I think there is free Proxy servers out there if I am not misstaken but I currently does not remember which PROXY's that exist's but maybe someone here know of any good Proxys that are anonymous and free?
Sincerely Joakim Agren!

I wouldn't bother with free proxy services. It is well known that many free proxys are "honey pots" (set up by the RIAA or MPAA)... for the purpose of catching file sharers.
btw, just like I pay for my ISP service, this is just an additional service that I find to be worth it. Your not paying for P2P, your paying for the anonymous service. This service is not only beneficial for P2P, but there are many other positive uses for it like keeping your surfing habits private from those that would use your IP address to identify who you are.

If everyone was behind a proxy server, then chances are everyone is firewalled and once again nobody would be able to download or upload to anyone else.
