    The 8mb buffer is more important.

    You will rarely reach the 100 bandwidth. Only the occasional peak. So not as important.

    Look into Seagate as another choice.

    Yeah I have a seagate right now, very nice! I just think the Samsung is good cuz it has 8MB buffer and ATA133. Do you think that will be ok VB, cuz I mean it does come with 3 year warranty. Is there something wrong with them that you know of?

    Hmm..I think I will go with this one.

    The WD also has a 8mb buffer.

    I don't think there is anything "wrong" with it. Just that I would choose another. Just my opinion.

    it is his personal preference... Umm i would actually look around see if anyone has one of these drives, or if a review for the drive has been made... If i is ok then sure go for it... just make sure you don't destroy the box etc so it can be returned... if neccesary

    Any monitor help now? Good 17inch flat screen...for bout $130 max or so..
