I wish I had of found this earlier, I just bought a Xenium Ice mod-chip for about $50 US and went to install and had a prob installing Bios, and i have had to take the chip to get re-flashed. Guess my ? is what is the difference from this method and useing a mod chip, any benefits to using either?

ChicoTheMan15: you can download the audio hacke form xbins, a guide oon how to use it is on the xboxscene website under turtorials and then under the miscilaneous one. also this solution is more temporary in my mind, i have a mod and it ws easier to put in a new hard drive witha mod chip also i dont have to downgrade or anything like that.

kinopio: if you wish to get a backup copy of a game you already have bittorent is the way to go. It is still not my favoreit way to get backups, I'm an IRC man, but it is the best and it has the widest selection.

hey can you play PAL games on a NTSC XBox if you soft-mod it? i thought i read somewhere that you can?

If your tv can play both PAL and NTSC then yes. As long as the tv is kinda new you should be fine.
