There were lots of problems with the SP1 like it slowed your system down and the nasty CD Key problem. I wouldn't worry about it and just post it.
Hope it works for you.

On a given day or given circumstance, you think you have a limit.
And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit and you think "Ok, this is the limit".
As soon as you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.

Are we still on this XP keygen/crack crap?
We have some slow learners here I think.
Microsoft has had this info published since shortly after XP was released.

And a search on Google will easily get you the xpSP1_en_x86.exe that you need to make this work.
Not to be confused with the current version, xpSP1a_en_x86.exe!! this one won't let you convert properly, even with changing to a legit key.
If you can't download it all in one shot, try emule for the original service pack listed above. ( xpSP1_en_x86.exe )

Yes we are, couse some people need help.Instead of telling everyone "you hould have done this ..." or "why haven't you done this ..." , post something that can realy help the person. Are we still on this XP keygen/crack crap?
I gave him a working XP key and a progy which helps you to change the key and it worked fine for him.Now he can update his system trough "Windows Update" or he can use one og the posted links.

P.S.
couse -> problem solved
You gave him a key which only delays his having to have a legitimate key.
Use your brain a liitle and take advantage of the resources MS offers instead of all these half assed cracks and fixes.
With this method, the key is legitimate and qualifies for full product support.
Your app that "changes the key" is something that people should be learning to do themselves anyway. And if you're going to do it, do it properly, with an authorised key.
Want to get insulting? I can play that game really well if I need to.

Anyway, for some reason the board has had all type of slow learners today and starting a heapload of unecessary self explanatory topics.
Waste of thread if ya ask me.
