downloading and uploading illegal files, including pirated mp3's are illegal in Canada

is there any place in the world where it says that's legal to download pirated stuff

There are countries where you can download mp3 albums from sites or listen to full songs from sites, when that is as illegal as you can go in USA ;P
For example in China lots of sharing works on HTTP.
But i don't understand why you started writing on 4 year old thread, as it has no meaning now.
