    I would probably download the K-Lite Codec Pack 2.20 Full , it has a nice collection of Audio and Video Codecs etc.

    i already got the klite codec pack... is there a special codec for WMP to play ogg files?

    It is possible, yes, but there is no point converting,
    re-compressing, de-encoding or whatever it is called...

    You just lose even more Data.

    Result (mp3 in this case) will suck, soundwise.
