the game port is for plugging older style game comtrollers into.As for the yellow exclamation mark.It tells you in the properties why it isn't working. It says it cannot find enough resources .Therefor your bets bet would be to go into your BIOS and disable the onboard sound, then after you reboot go in and uninstall your onboard sound .this will free up some resources. You could also try moving your sound card to a different slot.

it looks kinda like a parallel port only a bit shorter (not to much shorter, that ones a serial port) It used to be used for joysticks and steering wheels and game pads, but now most of them are usb because its a lot faster so they can easily incorporate force feedpack, rumble packs and many buttons.

if you want to get a joystick or something just get a usb one.

hmm thats odd, as there is no gameport on my card...
there are only 3 spots, 2 speaker and a mic
i may switch back to onboard sound, think the onboard sound from a NF7-S is better then a shitty creative PCI card?

I highly doubt that as it is just a shitty card that I "borrowed" out of a school computer.
not sure what it's called but im pretty sure it's bad lol

lol i "borrowed" a card from school a few weeks ago, i got a shitty soundblaster16 ISA card, it was to use on a p3 comp im building, also got a pci video card, neither worked, the video just showed a black screena dnteh soundcard wouldnt install drivers, it said that its the worng drivers, but i know i using teh right ones so ive given up on both.

time to borrow a different video card and soundcard i guess. my friend borrowed a hard drive, nice 10gig lol.
