I hope I would not be sick during the meal.

I hate bringing up departed friends at a nice enjoyable meal.

Chicken apparently.

Although a fair number of chickens would like know why, if everything tastes like them, they getted picked on so much?

Cos they are aggravating wee bar stewards.

Just the way they walk and peck is reason enough to eat the wee feckers.

Gonna watch "Alive" again this wekend. The film about a football team who, after an aircrash, in order to survive, decided to eat the flesh of those who had perished or died whilst waiting for rescue.

Could you do that?

Given the fact that no-one in the film from the beginning even dreamt of doing it, never the less did. It was a case of survival or perish.

I have no idea myself and would like to think that given the same circumstances wouldn't even contemplate it.

Very sad.

Like Funky says, no one could actually say whether they would or not.
Personally I really could'nt face doing that, but if it came down to me living (providing I had'nt lost my mind and wanted to die) and eating a dead friend, I would probably eat.

Human survival instincts would have to kick in at some point and no many people could force themselfs to starve to death if they had a source of food.
Not if they really wanted to live.

This is all speculation.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that human flesh is in fact poisonous when eaten by other humans - but this cant be true if it happens in real life

Terrible situation to be placed in anyway to be sure. I've seen the film once before, but like i said, it's being shown again this weekend. They even interviewed the survivors at one time i believe?

A lie propagated by cannibals in order to ensure that demand does not outstrip supply.

Gourmet economics I believe.

I seem to remember UK. That in fact that it is the brains* that cause all the trouble. I think it causes CJD.

* Wont apply with a football team though.
