    I'd build my own if I knew how and if I had the money. It would take me a year or two before I could save up £2,000(Google told me that's about $3,650 ) and there would be better and more expensive hardware by then. But I think I could get a pretty good computer for that price. B) So anyway I think if you have the money and you feel like you could build your own I think you should do it.

    well im no expert, but here in europe (holland) some thing like that is available at local grossery stores (dont ask ) for about 1100 euros............. that would be no more than 1400 dollar.........

    make up a wish list of components that you really
    want and then downsize to your budget.

    choices are many, forum members can provide insight
    but you must decide what is important and remember changes and
    improvements will continue...what is best today is not tomorrow.

    take your time, unless your present system is about to fall apart, it is a lot
    of money your spending and you should consider accordingly.
