Should I Buy A Gamecube?

Should I buy a GameCube for my birthday? I was really only considering it for the upcoming MGS game "Twin Snakes" but there's some other cool games I might like too like that mario kart game and other games I couldn't be bothered to get for ps2

Well as you posted a little bit down, they are alot closer to a working cube emulator than a X-box, so i would get an xbox.

Isn't twin snakes just a remake of mgs1?

Yeh it is but MGS1 is the best game ever.

True, but I do not think that just improving graphics (i realize there would be a few other extras too) is enough t warrnat buying a system.

Edit: Edited out opinion as I never want to be the starter of a console war.

GameCube has alot of other exclusives too...Some seem abit childish but some look cool

Gamecubes a great system, just not a hell of alot of games for it yet,

And if your an Rpg guy, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is coming out soon, and that ones GC exclusive, so theres another reason next to Metal Gear.

Gamecube does have a lower cost and their old exclusives are really inexpensive now.

Xbox actually has more games going for it than you think though.

1. Xbox has better graphics than all the systems.

2. Xbox has alot of the same good games that others systems have and they are on the X.
ex. Splinter Cell, Need For Speed Underground, Max Payne 1 & 2, Dead To Rights, GTA, Spiderman, ......the list goes on.

3. They have the best online gaming.

4. Their exclusives are not bad either. Make sure you get Otogi, a very underestimated game. It's sorta like Devil May Cry.
