no you can not change it, I mean if you want a different brand of bios chip thats ok but it will have to be programed (or burnt) with the same thing it has now, the only one you can use is the one specific to the Dell that you have.
If you want a new motherboard, go ahead update the bios with the flash crap. I learnt my lesson, it made me buy a new board.
So why fix something that is working?
