Why does it "take too much time" to copy a disk?
Surely you can spare 5 minutes or so from your busy schedule to do it.

Norton Ghost will allow you to make a copy of your OS AND all of your installed programs/settings.

Usually software protection on cd when it takes ages to copy.

Best way around it, is to contact your supplier & say disc's missing so you get a second set of orignials Easy sorted

I like Maximus359 idea, it works great that way, but you should be able to copy the cd with no problems. Espically windows xp cd, it has no copy protection on it. Just use EZ CD creator or Nero to burn a copy. Also Norton Ghost gets my vote too. Easy to use also.

CloneCD . It took 5 minutes to make a copy of my XP CD.I think I could wait that long rather than wait a day to download one.

i think the cd u have is a restore cd, not just an os disk

restore cds are crap anyways, if u want a disc with just os on it, dl it on bittorrent and burn it on a disc

and then find drivers for ur laptop from manuf. and put it on the same disc as well

u've just made ur own restore disk, but 10 times better than the one came with ur laptop

Use alcohol, just select all the options in the copy prompt.
