Where Are Hashes Allowed Now?

I recently posted some verified files in the 'Funny' section because I didn't think they really fit under any other section, but I noticed that html-style hashes didn't work there. Is there a reason behind this? Should I not post any hashes there at all?

Please keep hashes in the verified sections - not only to keep everything together, but to avoid any problems or concerns.
