Ok....now this is a tough one

I need a diskette that can do this:

Boot any windows (well at least win98, 2k, and xp) and linux (at least redhat and mandrake).

Can be configured at boot (in case you don't have an OS installed).

Can be used to configure the MASTER BOOT RECORD, and leave the changes there.

I hope it was clear, thanks for your help

Even if you found one all of that would never fit on a floppy.

Lol I'm asking.... it shouldn't be much of a hassle since all the functions it should have shouldn't be much. Just writing to the MBR or writing to the diskette.

And it's OS database would only include 5 or 6 Os's

Why not a bootloader? You could still add or edit the boot entries using the linuxconf tool. Easy..

Heh. Ok, this has nothing to do with my Linux thread (btw, I still haven't installed it lol).

I don't want to be able to edit the MBR while having both programs installed (I CAN do this). However, what I want is a diskette that can let you MAKE a booter with the options you want WITHIN a diskette (with no need of making it through Windows, Linux, or whatever OS.

It's kinda tricky, but I hope you get the point.
