Do We Really Need Freeware Verifieds?

Well, looking through some of the canned lists, and verifieds in general, I've noticed that a lot of what's posted is either freeware or shareware (no serial or crack)... do we really need that so that the reader has to go through ~100 more apps that he could just dl from a website ?

I agree. I'm new here so flame away if this is a stupid idea, but perhaps people could post URLs for freeware/shareware apps in the "general" software forum, and only then if they think people are likely to find it useful, rather than taking up a heap of server space posting huge lists of verifieds for apps people can d/l for nothing from the company's website.

Very True! I see people post stuff like "look for winzip on kazaa" I'm like.. WTF!! Go the their site and get it!!!

Just a review of features and a weblink in this section is enough.
To make hashes for it is however well intended ridiculous. B)
