    Fireworks is more for website imaging.
    Photoshop is more for professional printed artwork.
    Paint rules.


    EDIT - I recommend Photoshop, btw.

    Use both Fireworks MX 2004 & photoshop.
    Fireworks is more for the web development style of image editing .
    Whereas photoshop is more for advanced image editing/creating.
    photoshop is the far more powerful and tend to find myself using it for the majority of the image editing i do.
