    Hello,

I have been looking at the HMV website and there is 2 Alien Boxsets

Alien Legacy This one is £70.99 and has 4 discs with all for films on.

Alien Quadrilogy This one is £44.99 and has 9 DVD's becuase it has all speical features stuff added and had 9 DVD's 4 of them are the Director Cuts of the films and the 4 are Thectrical Cuts of the Films. And the 9th DVD is a Speical Edition one.

I don't understand why the price difference which one should i buy.

the Legacy set was released a few years ago, when DVDs were typically priced higher than they are now... and HMV has just neglected to adjust the price on that item? nowadays you just get more content for your money, on a lot of newer releases (such as the Quadrilogy set, which was only released in the past month or two). it's just that with increased sales & the growing popularity of DVD, film studios have decided to lower the average price of their releases.
