Now Im Lost

ive recently been hearing a lot of debating on nvidia and ati's latest gfx card series ( fx5200,fx5600,fx5700..)(radeon 9200, radeon 9600...). as in the fx 5600 doesnt support dirext x 9 correctly, and that the radeon 9600 does. so im lost in what to get. im pretty sure i want to go with a radeon 9600, but not sure if a fx5600 would be a better deal.

heres 2 gfx cards that im looking at:
saphire radeon 9600
and
xfx fx5600

which should i go for, the xfx is $97 and the radeon is $102.


opinions please... i would like to go with the fx5600 cuz of the cheaper price, but ive heard it doesnt support direct x9 the right way.

i will recomend you the 9600 xt it's more expensive but it will do a great job if you can't afford that i will go with the only 9600.

i wish i had enough for even a 9600 pro, but im prolly going to go for the 9600. i just barely have the money for it to. im going to a computer show in syaracuse next saturday so i might be able to get something better there. but if not im gettin the 9600.

Yeah, save your money until the computer show for sure. You can definately find a better deal there.

9600 XT Good Price

Go with this card, not only rebated, but you get Half-Life 2 FULL GAME. That's like a $100 u.s.

xt isnt worth the extra price when i can just get a pro and overclock it to xt speeds extremely easliy. and i dont know what the big deal with half life 2 is. ill jus pirate my copy off the net like every other game. bum im gonna wait for the pc show this weekend, and ill prolly have more money by then to. hopefully they have some good stuff. i wonder if ill be able to find a good hd, good memory, and good, cheap 80mm fans. ill find out tho. but the minimum gfx card im gonna get is a 9600 pro. ill come up with the extra money somewheres.
