Kernel32 Errors

I keep getting this error when I try to use things in Paint Shop Pro:

PSP caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff9db61.

I did a search on it and it said it could be a virus and to use this program:

w32.swen.a@mm

does anyone know where i can get that for free. the site i found it on was selling it.

I ran AVG for the program and it didn't detect anything.

invalid page fault are you sure its a virus mate?Its normaly just random if your windows are a bit messed up or drivers or memory conflicts.

I don't know, but I'll run this just to see. it won't hurt

. I've been having alot of problems with the hard drive lately, everytime i start up it tells me i have bad sectors and it won't let me run scandisk, that just freezes. I recently purchased a new hard drive, because this is going on 3 years old

. I haven't had a chance to get anything on it yet.
