Xvid - Freezing Playback When Fast Forwarded

Hi there!

I have a downloaded movie which is in Xvid format. Please see the attached picture for more information about the movie type.

I have following stuffs installed...
1. K Lite Codec Pack 2
2. ffdShow 2
3. Power DVD 5

I can play this movie in following players...
1. AVIPreview
2. Windows Media Player

But while playing, I fast forwared it. After I did that, the movie is freezed for about more than 25 seconds and continue. It's happening for all Xvid movies not only this one. But when I stop the movie and play again, it's OK again. When I fast forwarded the movie, it's happening again.

I have 256 MB ram with P4 2.4 GHz Processor so it is not my computer speed.

So could you guys please suggest something? Thanks!

Do you happen to know which version of XviD it is?

I notices that with the Xvid Codec in K Codec 2.21 RC5 i changed to 2.24 its works better with 2.24

Is 2.24 the latest version? Where do I download? Do you have URL?
