Movie Burning Help

Hey people,im a newbie and have a question about downloading full movies and burning them to a cd-r...i see that most of the movies are around 500-1000mb and if one is around 690 and above they of course wont fit on a cd-r...i use nero 6 for making a vcd...what do you guys do to fit them onto a single cd?or is there not a way?thanks for the help peeps

Most DVDrips are 699MB they fit on a 700MB CD-R, but if you want to convert them to mpeg (so you can whats them on your DVD-player) I recommand TMPGEnc. But then the filesize will increase to around 740 or more, there are 800MB cd-r you can use to burn these files.
