ya if you wanna lie about it at least make sure it's doable
so many ppl lie to show off but dont know/have the real stuff
i am at 71 fps on my 2200xp @266Mhz ati 9800xt
edit: btw resolution doesn't affect fps i dont care if you run cs at 640x480 or 1200x1600 fsp is the same
type cl_showfps 1
Is you have a crappy video card try tweaking CS in order to get more fps
How?
-Download HighFps Models (It will make players to look really bad but u will get more FPS)
-Choose the right resolution
-Update ur drivers
- Tweak Config.cfg file and disable some textures commands
That's pretty much all u cand do
i got about 25 fps with a 18Mb sis integrated card and with 500Mhz, 256 Ram
And If u have a good video Card and u are not gettin 100 fps
It might be cause u haven't TURN OFF VSYNC in Open Gl settings
yes it does!Originally posted by james_bond_rulez@15 February 2004 - 17:24

no it doesn't
no it doesn't
YES IT DOES! A buddy of mine had one of the shittiest computers I've ever seen. On 1.5 he had to play at 512xXXX(don't remember the exact resolution, it was low). He had a shitty card and if he even went to 800x600, it was 1 frame every 10 seconds . Now say that you have a 32mb video card and up, you can't tell the difference, but it does affect it.
