    i went to my opticians and i was hoping if you lot could help me

    on my prescription sheet it sed -3.50 (sph) for both my eyes

    what does this mean ??

    I think it's the focal power of your eyes... but I'm not sure.

    if i took off my glasses though i wouldnt see a thing

    Scratch that last one, think it actually means the focal power of the lenses u need to correct your vision. Not really sure what a higher or lower number represents to be honest.

    My lenses have got -2.00 on them and I&#39;m just a bit shortsighted. I wouldn&#39;t worry bout it if I were u&#33;

    I don&#39;t think you&#39;re too bad gemby... mine are -6.50 for nearsightedness plus astigmatism correction (but I&#39;m not sure of the prescription for that).
