I have Sixth Sense.

It's usually called ESP, but I call mine "Well, then...better not, huh?"

Actually, I have two; the other one is channel 34 on my TV.

So, you basicly say the same as Hobbes........

Why doesn't that surprise me.......

Is it because it is beyond reasoning??

I wish you a good serendipity.....

Quite so, Yogi-

I think instances such as described are, due to striking circumstances, lumped together due to a very human urge to catagorize exceptional occurrences.

I think this is normal; it makes sense for us to do this as it lends to keeping one's "attic" organized, yes?

The mere fact of it is serendipitious, wouldn't you say?
Good point!!

Though again i think it's not merely the need that makes the deed.....

Nice turn of phrase, there, Yogs.

Don't give in to reasoning it takes all the fun out of life. Believe what you want to believe, no one can prove your wrong. Its like believing in religion - its faith - Like someone said in the supernatural thread.. we only understand and use a small percentage of our brains full ability. So who knows and can say i know or your wrong, not to many people in this world.

Oh, you must be referring to that rare commodity called "common sense". Yes, I believe in that.
I disagree with Hobbes and I am deeply offended by the off-hand nature of his comments about this topic.

Surely he is bringing his agenda, that most people don't think things through to anticipate complications before acting, to the thread, disrupting the topic.

A simple play with words, that is all he did.

The sixth sense deals with illogic, not logic, which is the realm of common sense.

When I am about to board a bus but turn away, I cannot logically explain why, it is just a feeling, it is the 6th sense. Common sense would turn me away from the bus, because I have my own car.

I think Jpol and J2 have summed up what it means to me, I can't improve upon what they have said.

I just posted this to tell Hobbes that the next time he wants to highjack a thread for his silly little jokes to STFU.
Aren't we in the trust tree, thingey?

Hobbes has indeed been a little "off" since he began practicing extra-sanguinity.

As re: the topic at hand-

I find that, in my case, any incidents of this type are of the "I had better do this" rather than the "I had better not..." sort.

Anyone else?
