Thread: Hubble Telescope

  1. #1
I don't know if anyone has heard of the Paul Harvey news show or not but they announced today that the Hubble Telescope found a planet 150 lightyears away that has oxygen and carbon. I don't think it was close enough to see if there was life or not.

(Don't be an ass and flame me for not getting the information completely correct down to the last syllable.)

That is impossible, because a few of the religious members calim that the entire universe is only 7,000 years old. Before that, God was the only "existance".

God started the light in advance, say my literal, bible loving, friends. Whatever it takes to maintain the illusion.

But to be fair, if it is 150 light years away, it has had plenty of time to reach Earth. Some Stars are thought to be 150 million light years away, that is another matter.
Aren't we in the trust tree, thingey?

You are right. I read the question wrong. I was thinking "Carl Sagan" like. Billions of years.

And your Sig's shadow still has lit windows, in the shadow....
