    in one of the channel it says that i can not download without a registered nick

    Put this in the Status Window:
    Code:
    /nick <username>
/nickserv register <password> <your email>
    To login:
    Code:
    /msg NickServ IDENTIFY <password>
    Subsitute the <>&#39;s with required item.

    It depends sometimes yes..sometimes no ..sometimes no email required at all..But sometimes they send a confirmation email (only seen this once can&#39;t rememeber the network)
