The prices of projectors are going down......
but one thing nobody ever tells you is that
after somewthing like 300playing hours
the Lightbulb is finished
a new lightbulb for a video projector
costs between 400 to 600$!!!!
Ok?

The moral of the story? Don't use a projector, use a TV-out or use a direct output to a 42" Sony Plasma TV
Oh well I can dream

There's no need to do that. All you need is the projector and a white wall. The day before Revolutions opened here, we watched Reloaded the same way those guys are, however just in a white wall. It looked perfectly, not to mention we had disco sound (big ass speaker-monitors like that )

I would love to have a projectot but the bulbs are the only thing that are putting me off it.
I have been searching for about a year on all info on making your own one and this site got me thinking about it.

I can get all the parts easy but the only thing stopping me is that i dont have an lcd screen i can use.
On a few forums people say to just use an lcd kit with tv inputs but i want to use a propper lcd screen for my PC.
Ive seen a few pictures of these diy projectors and they are amazing.
