okay I know this is possible, I read it hear ages ago, but can't find it again!
What I want to do is capture a cartoon series which my kids watch on BBCi, it's streamed media with no save option, anyone remember how to do this, I vaguely remember it had something do with cache file, or then again maybe not lol

can you give me the link that has the video?
offhand i'd say notepad for quicktime, StreamBox!VCR or ASFRecorder for other formats.
