But Im only connected to 3 seeders...I tried to restart azureus but that just makes it even worse...takes longer time to connect...I usually get speeds over 100kbs with that many seeders but not this time...what causes this?

That 300 seeders you are seeing, is that just on the stat page? If so, thats just the number of completed files that were downloaded, but not all of them are sharing it at the same time, because 1. they dont like to share, 2. they shared enough,
Its normal to be like that,
as far as connecting to the tracker, some trackers take a few seconds to kick in, also, you may want to restart your pc.

ive had torrents with seeds up to 500 and ive never been able to connect to more than 70.. But it takes a while to connect to more and more.. kinda like emule.

You guys are right...I guess it does need some time to kick in....In this case it took plenty of time...But it was worth it man...the speed went all the way up to 140 kbs...Personal record!

I got Gothika last night it's already ready for me to start encoding it.
