Where Did My Downloads Go

was downloading a file quite happily,turned the pc off for a while and the file has just dissapeared from my traffic folder??
why did it do this? remedy needed

did you shut down correctly. Did you have a lockup, was your download finished. Is there still a *.dat file in your shared folder. What version of Kazaa are you using.

yeah had a lockup and had to incorrectly shut down!!!
i think i know whats coming next, bollox

it that is the case then the file got corrupted and kazaa will delete the corrupted file. Or it may still be in your shared folder as a dat file but since it is corrupt it will not show up in traffic. There is a program out there called datrepairer that you can try and use to fix it but I think you just have to delete it and start over on the download. You can find it HERE
