Is there something available for me to convert an optical input on my DVD player to an optical output?

    Many thanks

Sorry, I should have been more specific: it's an all-in-one.

You know, one of those all-in-one surround sound systems - with a combined amplifier and DVD-V player.

Why so secretive? Even after asking you twice what you are talking about, you still haven't given is a model number or anything.

What is this? A test or something?

you can';t the idea is that the optics cable will provide stunning suround sound for games... the PS2 has such an output, and so hook that output into the input for your system'sinput...

The reason it has no optics out, is that IT is supposed to be the end destination for all sound sources...
