Invision Power Board version 2.0 is out soon, will you be updating?
If so, how will that effect all the changes you've made?

We won't update until it is out for at least 1/2 year - maybe longer. The IB version here is optimized for high visitor counts (IB default can handle a max of 400 - 450 users if you run a dedicated P4 2.44 Ghz with 2 GB RAM) meaning IB V2.0 is no priority.
I'll have a look at VBulletin soon and if the mod features are great I am going to buy it for this board.

vBulletin is well worth it 7th, trust me. 
It's fast, stable, and flexible, you get great support and a great modding / skinning community to boot.
