    I know what you mean......being a teacher would be so much better if it wasn&#39;t for the kids


    I worked in drug rehab/detox b4 so to imagine a crioss between the 2.......head for the hills MN..........run&#33;&#33;&#33;

    I must be a glutton for punishment as I am soon to start Uni with a view to be a teacher...

    I worked with drug addicts/alcoholics in rehabs/detoxs/street outreach for 6 years bu twere were nowhere near as demanding a client group as average school children...........It&#39;s getting hard work where I am but come July I should be in Thailand where teaching is soooooooooooo much easier. When I taught there b4 the kids would bow as they passed my desk and if I said STFU (in teacher words) they would instantly. My next job is in an international school there so would be even more so.....



    guess I&#39;ll miss the challenge in a few years but WTF (in teacher words)

    Sounds good...it&#39;s a long way into the future for me but my plans are along similar sort of lines.

    Secondary school.

    I&#39;m going to do my degree first (got an unconditional for both unis in my home town) and then do a PGCE. Thus giving me the option to change my mind in the next three years.
