    Hi, what audio format type and compression is suitable for websites? Keep it mind the music needs to be quite good quality, but not kill 56K users! I was thinking
    "WINDOWS MEDIA FORMAT 8 : 48KBITS (STEREO) : NEAR CD QUALITY"
    The reason for wma8 and not wma9 is that some of my users can't open that format (v9).

    Hmm... Are you sure that's 'Near CD Quality'? I would suggest mp3 at 64k stereo to be half decent.
