The Klboard Server Running Out Of Space?

Recently as I saw many new rules were made - signature sizes reduced,
avatars size reduced - as far as I know to:

• Guarantee fast loading of the board for Modem/ISDN Users - for my ISDN the
  board was always fast enough. Otherways I never would have come here.

• The other reason maybe as this is the most obvious reason to me that the
  HD Space of the Server where the Board is saved and running 24/7 is running
  out of space? I hope that is not the cast. 7th, do you have direct access to the
  Klboard Server or is the Server somewhere rented from a company? I just hope
  you think of the HD Space - as I heard the current Forum Size with all threads
  may be around 200 MB - in the worst case it may end up at a size of 12 GB in the
  next year, but I don't think that it would be so big.

We run own servers which are co located in a huge datacenter called EV1 (cause colocation is the best if it comes to connectivity)

The current setup for this board is 1 database server and one web server. Both board servers have 2 x 120 GB harddisks but more can be added. Current usage is 825 MB database and around 60 MB uploaded files.

If more is needed more will be added.

That is a huge database - 800 MB

120 GB, that is more than my crapppy 12 GB Hard Disk

I never had been so far in Switzerland, but it may be an interesting place
if you look on its landscapes.
