also if i use sig2dat, will that gaurentee a real version or does it just find the nearest source?

cheers

sig2dat will guarantee a real copy of the file.
So no worries there.

Dont waste your time with kazaa, use overnet https://filesharingtalk.com/index.php?showforum=57 or bittorent https://filesharingtalk.com/index.php?showforum=59

Also use verified hashes https://filesharingtalk.com/index.php?showtopic=86867 instead of search..

A Great verified hash site to start of with would be http://www.sharereactor.com you can use the links there with overnet...

Stop redirecting everybody to another p2p!
K-lite is still good enough to download games, software and movies.
As long as you know how to use it there's no problem.
By using verified hashes in k-lite there's no need to worry about getting fake files so this feature makes it as good as overnet.
There for there's no reason to switch to another p2p.
The only thing k-lite isn't good for is musicfiles, for all the rest it's super!
As long as you use verified hashes!!!

I think music is the only thing it is good for. Considering the content and speeds of other p2p's it's seriously lacking.

I can't agree with that. It's true that speed is one of the good things in k-lite because you can download from multiple sources, but the number of fake and corrupt (music)files is just too much.Ofcourse there are verifieds for that as well but I don't think it's that much.Besides k-lite there's soulseek I use to dl music, because you can find very rare music on it,and everything else too ofcourse. And you don't have to worry about getting corrupt files with it.At least I never had any using soulseek. But yeah, speeds aren't always that good on soulseek.Sometimes if you're lucky you can get speeds up to 100kb/sec.And a friend of mine,so he told me,had numerous sources that gave him speeds up to 400kb/sec...but I think they are very rare.
