Anyone seen the collectors edition of Scarface on dvd? It has pretty bad picture and sound. Anyone know if it's being re-released? A new edition of Goodfellas is coming out soon..nice

I doubt there will be another rip of that fine classic. B) I downloaded the DVD-R version, it worked perfect. In fact, it was so good, it inspired me to purchase it.

I own the scarface dvd, (thank you great ebay), it is just an average dvd.

as far as a rerelease, i have heard rumors. there are legal issues right now as to who "owns" the dvd rights, thats why is OOP, (out of print).

so maybe eventually. its arguably the most wanted OOP dvd around.

From my understanding there is no scarface dvd out there-specially at blockbuster-cause the 20th anniversary is this summer and the movie will be released in the theaters and then after blockbuster and others will recieve it in dvd format. And no-dvd situation is suppossedly to halt mass sharing before it's release as 20th

There is a Scarface DVD. It is out of print now because of a legal dispute. Trust me, I have read up on this at numerous places. It was discontinued about 2 years, or maybe more, ago.

I highly doubt there will be release in theaters. I have heard nothing about this on Aintitcool.com or darkhorizons.com, the premiere movie info sites. But i could be wrong.

There could very well be a rerelease of the DVD for the 20th aniversary, as that would make total sense.

rumors, a few, but nothing concrete.

Being that its the most sought after dvd, (thas oop), and was shitty the first time, i cant imagine them never rereleasing the dvd...

mgm did it with bond... they went oop, couple years, none of them, rerelease, boom, sold like hot cakes at a mcds breakfast special.

i have the scarface collectors edition
was in hmv today and seen the normal version for sale £11.99 or sumthin not really that many left.

When i bought mine there was lots and lots then about a week later all gone.
